teal sea glass from aphrodite's rock

new teal sea glass pendant made from sea glass found at aphrodite's rock..  the only piece of sea glass i've found in cyprus to date!

stunning teal sea glass found along the shore of aphrodite's rock in paphos, cyprus has been elegantly wrapped in silver plated wire and crafted into beautiful handmade coastal jewelry.

aphrodite is the greek goddess of love & beauty. the myth has it that she was born from the sea foam at the very place where this sea glass was found, and rose from the water a fully grown woman. now you can be a part of the tale of aphrodite!

perfect for any occasion casual or fancy, and simple enough to lend itself as a gift for just about any woman on your list!

pendant measures 1 1/2 inch length and is 3/4 inch wide.

Sea glass is created from broken glass that has been tumbled through the waves and smoothed by the sand and water. All of the pieces you find in this shop are made of authentic sea glass that I have found along the shores of New England, and have not been altered in any way from the original shape they were in when combed from the beach.

spotlight: elizabeth eaves

new to the etsy community is one of my absolute favorite crafters, elizabeth eaves.  she just took the plunge and made the move over from folksy, the british version of etsy (i think).  her shop is still being updated, but currently showcases 8 brilliant vintage-inspired evening clutches, coin purses, and cosmetic bags.


she writes, "based in the heart of london, working from my home studio, i design and make a range of unique textile products and gifts. using a variety of beautiful fabrics, i take inspiration from vintage textiles, combined with current fashion to create pieces which are a contemporary take on classic design. from coin purses and cosmetic cases, to evening bags, everything is individually designed, produced and finished by hand."

i personally own, use daily, and absolutely adore her cosmetic bags (shown above in purple), and cannot wait to get my hands on more of her creations!!


elizabeth eaves has seen great success on folksy.com, but has made the switch to take advantage of the larger community that etsy has to offer.  you can also find her throughout the u.k. at various craft fairs, and she is more than willing to entertain custom orders!
