aphrodite's rock

for those of you who don't know, aphrodite is the greek goddess of love & beauty.  at this very location near paphos, cyprus, aphrodite was born amidst the sea foam when she rose from the sea a fully grown woman.  greek myth has it that if you swim nude around her rock three times, you will achieve eternal youth & fertility.


we took a day trip there this weekend to see what all the buzz was about, and it was absolutely astonishing.  while there, i found beautiful mediterranean sea stones which are proving to be lovely pendants, soon to be for sale in my etsy shop.
